The Role
We are recruiting for an experienced Financial Planning Content Specialist to join a growing financial team, combining financial planning expertise with a passion for education and content.
You’ll be responsible for the research, scriptwriting and financial modelling behind long-form content designed to educate a wide public audience.
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Paraplanner who enjoys financial planning but has a stronger interest in education, communication andmarketing than traditional suitability report writing.
Key Responsibilities
- Research retirement planning topics such as decumulation, tax, drawdown and sequence of returns risk.
- Write clear, engaging scripts that explain complex financial concepts in plain English.
- Build and accurately model case studies using financial planning/cashflow software.
- Work with the production team to ensure content is suitable for filming.
- Keep up to date with developments across the retirement planning landscape.
About You
You’ll ideally have
- A Level 4 financial planning qualification, such as CII Diploma, Dip FA, CISI or equivalent, completed or in progress.
- Practical experience with financial planning/cashflow modelling software.
- Excellent written communication skills and the ability to simplify complex information without losing accuracy.
- Strong attention to detail.
- A genuine interest in retirement planning and financial education.
- A desire to build a career in content and marketing rather than traditional financial advice.
