Paraplanning Support Administrator

The Role
We are working with a well-established Financial Planning firm in Cheshire that is looking to recruit an experienced Paraplanning Support candidateto join their team.
This is a varied opportunity, supporting the existing paraplanning team while also taking responsibility for servicing existing clients, platform-based work, illustrations and liaising directly with clients and product providers.
You will analyse client information, carry out basic financial research and assist with producing clear, accurate and compliant suitability reports, ensuring a high-quality service is delivered to clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the Paraplanning team with day-to-day casework and administration.
- Receiving and acting on instructions from Advisers and Paraplanners following client meetings.
- Servicing existing client business, including platform and provider-related work.
- Obtaining illustrations and product information from providers.
- Analysing client information and undertaking basic plan, product and fund research.
- Assisting with the preparation of suitability letters and reports.
- Maintaining accurate client records using the firm's back-office system.
- Liaising with clients and product providers regarding outstanding information and queries.
- Providing supporting records for research undertaken. Ensuring client files remain accurate, complete and compliant.
- Managing your own workload effectively while supporting the wider Paraplanning team.
- Assisting with ad-hoc projects where required.
About You
The successful candidate will ideally have
- At least
2 years' experience within a Financial Planning/Wealth Management environment .
- Experience working with platforms and computerised back-office systems.
- A good understanding of the financial planning process.
- Knowledge of pensions, investments and protection products .
- Experience producing or supporting suitability reports would be advantageous.
- Ideally working towards, or holding, the
Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning .
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
