Private Patient Advisor – 12 month fixed term contract. To apply you must be able to commit to a 12 month FTC with a view of going permanent. This role requires 5 days working in the clinic office in Cheadle, NO HYBRID. We are seeking a professional and personable Private Patient Advisor to join a healthcare team. The successful candidate will act as the primary point of contact for private patients, providing exceptional customer service and tailored support throughout their medical journey. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with medical patient experience to contribute to a high-quality healthcare experience in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities

  • Patient Relationships: Build outstanding rapport with patients. You will play a pivotal role in building trust and giving advice. You must be able to demonstrate compassion and understanding when addressing the concerns or emotional needs of patients.
  • Patient Communication: Skilled at managing high volumes of incoming enquiries via multiple channels. Give timely, professional, and courteous responses to phone calls and emails regarding services, prices, procedures and general enquiries.
  • Team Collaboration: Attend regular team meetings and positively contribute with innovative ideas for continuous improvement to the services and processes.
  • Patient Information: Collect and verify patient information, manage data according to internal regulations and GDPR, ensuring confidentiality is always maintained.

Requirements

  • Medical or healthcare setting experience with experience in supporting patients throughout their medical journey; exceptionally empathetic with a passion for patient service.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients from day one; ability to multi-task and be self-motivated; compassion, tenacity, and resilience.
  • Highly experienced in IT and IT systems; first class organisational skills; ability to prioritise workload; positive can-do attitude.
