Job Description
We work with some of the most prestigious and well-known names in the hospitality sector providing specialist procurement services to a wide range of hotels, restaurants, contract caterers, pubs and leisure groups. We provide business consultancy, advice, technology and hands-on support, maximising profitability for our clients by improving the way that products are sourced and managed.
We now have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated Account Manager to join our team to manage the day-to-day relationships with our clients; working with General Managers, Chefs and other key stakeholders to develop the account and identify opportunities to add further value, meeting with them regularly to review supplier performance and KPI dashboards and bringing insight from markets to help those businesses make better-informed menu and purchasing decisions. This is a full-time role (40 hours per week) office/home/field-based with travel throughout the UK required. The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate the following experiences and skills:
Essential
- Experience in account management / customer care roles
- Proven ability to influence and develop strong relationships
- Excellent listener with the skills to really understand and establish clients’ needs
- Honed interpersonal skills
- Hardworking, self-motivated, enthusiastic, flexible, high energy, persistent, tenacious
- Excellent level of IT competence including Microsoft Windows Software such as Excel & PowerPoint
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to organise and prioritise workload, including ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the tenacity to ensure quick and satisfactory resolutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience of building strong relationships across all levels of stakeholders
- Quick to learn and adaptable
Desirable
- Experience in the Hospitality and Out of Home eating market
- Experience of working at operator/chef level
- Experience of Hospitality P2P systems
- Proven ability to engage at a senior level
