This position is focused on manual testing of software applications to identify bugs and defects. It involves developing and executing test cases, collaborating with teams to prioritize testing, analyzing results, reporting defects, and staying up-to-date with industry trends and technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct exploratory manual testing of software applications to identify bugs and defects.
- Develop and execute test cases using various test case management tools (e.g., TestRail, Testmo, Xray, JIRA Zephyr).
- Utilize Excel as a primary test case management tool to track and manage test cases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing needs.
- Analyze test results and report defects to the development team.
- Participate in test planning, test case development, and test execution.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging testing technologies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
