What our client is looking for:

J is a young man who lives in his own flat in New Brighton. He has Cerebral Palsy and is a full-time wheelchair user. J requires support with personal care, medication, meal preparation, housework and engaging in his community. J has recently started acting and has booked many acting roles within the North West; he requires support to do so.

J has a large mobility van that the Support Workers must be confident driving. J requires 24‑hour support, 7 days a week but often will request time alone e.g. to take his dog for a walk (Support Workers must be comfortable with dogs). J has a caravan in Prestatyn which the Support Workers would be expected to support J to access.

J has a preference for Support Workers in that they are drivers, are able to communicate in fluent English and that there is not a significant age difference. In the first instance, J asks for a meet and greet with the Support Workers to ensure they have good rapport.
