The Systems Transition & Enabler Lead plays a key role in the design, development and deployment of the organisation’s new digital care platform. The postholder is responsible for co-designing, building and implementing onboarding and capability-building frameworks that support the system deployment process. Working within the IT project team, the postholder will work from blueprints to help design and develop system frameworks and support system testing, deployment readiness and implementation activities required to bring the platform into operational use. Owing to direct involvement in framework design, build and test phases, the postholder will also be well placed to support end-user training and knowledge transfer as part of deployment.

Main Responsibilities
- System Design & Development
- To work with project consultant in designing system frameworks from blueprints to help develop a user-friendly digital care solution for use across the organisation.
- To co-design and develop a web application that integrates effectively with other business-critical systems.
- Troubleshoot functionality and performance issues and support timely resolution.
- Test websites and applications thoroughly across different browsers and environments to ensure reliable performance, in readiness to design and development deployment readiness material.
- Deployment Readiness Framework Development
- Design and implement deployment-readiness frameworks that support system configuration, testing, controlled rollout and adoption across franchise, branch and carer teams.
- Create implementation templates, toolkits and supporting documentation required for testing, issue resolution and release preparation.
- Ensure deployment deliverables align with implementation milestones, release schedules and go-live criteria.
- Deployment Enablement & Knowledge Transfer
- Lead deployment enablement activities during rollout, supporting a controlled and successful transition to the new system.
- Translate system design, configuration and testing outcomes into practical walkthroughs, readiness reviews and deployment guidance for end users.
- Deliver knowledge transfer and end-user training required for go-live, reflecting direct involvement in framework design, test activity and deployment preparation.
- Implementation Materials Design & Development
- Develop implementation materials such as AI-based videos, micro-modules and process guides to support rollout of the new platform.
- Ensure all implementation content is version-controlled and aligned with technical documentation, release notes and tested processes.
- Maintain an organised repository of deployment materials to support rollout, handover and controlled future releases.
- Deployment & Transition Activities
- Support go-live preparation, pilot testing, deployment verification and controlled release activity.
- Identify, log and help resolve system or process issues arising during testing, rollout and early deployment through project governance.
- Prepare transition and handover documentation to support movement from project implementation into stable operational use.
- Evaluation & Project Reporting
- Gather structured feedback from pilot sites to inform improvements and future releases.
- Contribute to visual communications, including infographics and motion graphics, that communicate deployment outcomes.
- General Responsibilities
- Contribute to the planning, documentation and delivery of system implementation and deployment workstreams.
- Work collaboratively across IT and operational teams to deliver implementation outcomes on time and to agreed quality standards.
Key Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in system implementation, digital platform deployment, or technology transformation projects.
- Experience developing implementation frameworks, deployment assets and knowledge-transfer materials that support rollout and adoption.
- Good working knowledge of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and SQL Server, with the ability to maintain existing web-based systems and code.
- Experience in system testing, troubleshooting, deployment coordination, and producing clear user or technical documentation.
- Knowledge of AI and digital tools for creating implementation videos, walkthroughs, process guides, or similar deployment content.
- Understanding of web development best practice, with strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage multiple priorities, and maintain a structured approach to implementation delivery and reporting.
