About the role:
Prestige Nursing & Care Redhill is seeking an experienced and compassionate Female Live-In Carer to support a gentleman living with a Spinal Cord Injury in the East Surrey area. You will be joining a dedicated team delivering high-quality, clinically governed care. Accommodation includes a private bedroom with an en-suite bathroom.
Key responsibilities & clinical needs:
- Supporting daily living, mobility, and personal care routines
- Monitoring and managing clinical risks, including Autonomic Dysreflexia
- Clinical administration and prompting (including bowel management/rectal medication, catheter care, and enhanced observations)
- Driver essential for local transport (mobility vehicle provided)
Applicant requirements:
- Female Carer (Gender-specific care request)
- Valid UK Driver’s License
- Prior experience with Spinal Cord Injuries or complex neuro-care is highly desirable
- Comfortable working in a home with a dog and a smoker (ventilated care policies in place)
- Full right to work in the UK
- Open to working patterns e.g. 2 weeks on / off
Training & Clinical Support:
Full specialist training and clinical competency sign-offs will be provided prior to starting, including moving & handling, basic life support, and specialist bowel/catheter management.
