Our Bath branch are all long serving and have a vast knowledge of the area and our client base. Our purpose is to provide high quality, community-based specialist home care and support. What we are looking for:
We are looking for a kind and caring support worker to provide domiciliary care for an elderly lady living with dementia. The role includes supporting her throughout the day and providing waking night support, ensuring she feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for in her own home.
Duties include:
- Assisting with personal care
- Preparing and supporting with meals
- Offering companionship
- Promoting her dignity, well being, and independence
- Supporting and encouraging her to take part in the activities she enjoys, such as spending time in her garden
Requirements:
- Kind, patient, and compassionate nature with a person centred approach
- Experience with domiciliary care and supporting individuals in their own home
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliability and a commitment to building trust
- Support with meal preparation and encouraging nutrition and hydration
- Ability to provide personal care with dignity and respect
- Enhanced DBS check required
