What we are looking for:

We are looking for professional carers to support clients with Domiciliary care. Domiciliary care is support provided to individuals in their own homes, empowering them to live independently for as long as possible, while ensuring their safety, well-being, and quality of life are maintained. It can include support with personal care, household tasks, meal preparation, medication support/reminders, and companionship. It is designed for people who need extra assistance due to illness, disability, or age, whether it's for short-term convalescence or long-term support. Care experience is not essential for this role.

What we offer:

  • You will be paid the National Minimum Wage for all attended training sessions and shadow shifts.
  • We offer the flexibility of either a zero-hour contract or contracted hours, whichever suits your lifestyle the most.
  • Work with our own clients, no agency work.
  • Blue light card.
  • Enhanced Maternity/Paternity and Adoption schemes.
  • Continued professional development to support you & your career.
  • Paid time off to volunteer and give back to the charities and causes that matter to you.
  • Holiday pay.
  • Refer a friend scheme.
  • Employee Assistance line – available 24/7 and fully confidential for our staff.
  • Support from your local branch team and out of hours support.

In line with CQC & Care Inspectorate regulations, we require and will undertake enhanced DBS/PVG, right to work, reference and employment history checks in line with Government guidelines for this role and safer recruitment best practice.

As a private provider of home care in the UK, Prestige Nursing & Care is not affiliated to the NHS, as such we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of any employment visa at this time.

All our clients are equally entitled to have their needs met in a safe, fair and balanced way. Prestige Nursing & Care colleagues are responsible for promoting equal opportunities for all and for challenging any behaviour or practice which discriminates against any client or colleague on the grounds of race, religion, disability, age, gender, sexual orientation, identity or any other perceived difference.
