Professional Carer

Overview

Professional Carer – Plymouth City Centre (PL1). Hours: Tue 12:00–17:00; Thu 12:00–17:00; Fri 09:30–16:30. Total hours per week: 17. This role involves supporting a lady in her own home to rehabilitate after an acquired brain injury, helping her complete daily living activities and access community engagements. A driver is required to operate the client’s mobility vehicle and hold a clean driving licence.

Responsibilities

You will support, encourage and motivate the client to carry out daily living activities and to participate in community activities. You will help the client live independently in her own home and enjoy new experiences.

Qualifications & Requirements

Enhanced DBS/PVG, Right to Work, references and employment history checks in line with government guidelines for safer recruitment. Right to work in the UK is required; sponsorship for overseas candidates is not provided. If you have lived overseas, an overseas police check dated within the last 3 months may be required if you lived outside the UK for more than a year in the last 5 years. A clean driving licence is required for this role due to driving duties.
