Key Responsibilities
- Assist with full mobility support using a ceiling track hoist
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding; monitor intake
- Administer medication, including controlled pain relief (training provided)
- Manage a suprapubic catheter; support with bowel continence
- Monitor emotional wellbeing - client may experience occasional suicidal ideation
- Support with communication, allowing time and patience
- Enable access to the community with the client\'s partner or other carers
- Work closely with the wider healthcare team as needs evolve

- Currently has full mental capacity but likely to decline due to MS
- Generally in good spirits and communicative
- Requires full physical support (wheelchair/bed bound)
- Breathlessness at times - CPAP or cough assist may be introduced
- No current skin integrity issues
- PEG feeding under discussion for future needs
