Exciting opportunity! You will support a 14‑year‑old woman with CTNNB1 syndrome in her home, providing personal care, medication management, and daily living support while encouraging her participation in sensory play and other enjoyable activities.
Hours available: every other weekend on Saturday or Sunday for 6 hours, plus extra cover during school holidays. There is also the opportunity to cover additional shifts and other complex care packages.
Responsibilities- Supporting personal care tasks
- Administering medication
- Performing complex care tasks
- Encouraging and providing fluids and nutrition
- Assisting with activities of daily living, companionship and outings
- Maintaining skin integrity
- Carrying out domestic duties and shopping trips where appropriate
- Maintaining and updating care records
- Paid previous experience as a professional carer
