Our Bath branch are all long serving and have a vast knowledge of the area and our client base. Our purpose is to provide high quality, community-based specialist home care and support. We aim to work together to achieve the goals of each of our varying clients, and to make a difference in their lives.
What we are looking for:
- We are looking for a kind and caring support worker to provide domiciliary care for an elderly lady living with dementia.
- The role includes supporting her throughout the day and providing waking night support, ensuring she feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for in her own home.
- Duties include assisting with personal care, preparing and supporting with meals, offering companionship, and promoting her dignity, well being, and independence.
- The role also includes supporting and encouraging her to take part in the activities she enjoys, such as spending time in her garden.
Requirements:
- Kind, patient, and compassionate nature with a person centred approach
- Experience with domiciliary care and supporting individuals in their own home
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliability and a commitment to building trust
- Support with meal preparation and encouraging nutrition and hydration
- Ability to provide personal care with dignity and respect
- Enhanced DBS check required
