Self-Employed Financial Adviser – United Kingdom

Our client believes financial advice should be personal, transparent, and built around long-term trust. They work closely with their clients to understand their financial goals, ambitions, and the life they want to create. They are looking for an experienced Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) who shares their commitment to putting clients first. The successful candidate will have the freedom to provide whole-of-market advice, supported by a team that handles administration, compliance, and research, allowing them to focus on delivering tailored financial solutions and helping clients make confident financial decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet with new and existing clients to understand their financial needs, objectives, and risk appetite.




• Provide clear, compliant, tailored advice across investments, pensions, retirement planning, protection, and tax-efficient strategies.




• Conduct market research to identify suitable products and financial solutions.




• Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships through trust and regular communication.




• Keep up to date with industry developments and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning as a minimum; Chartered status would be an advantage.




• Proven experience as an IFA or Financial Adviser in the UK market.




• Up-to-date knowledge of FCA regulations and compliance standards.




• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial matters clearly.




• Self-motivated, organised, and comfortable managing your own diary.

Our client is looking for a small number of established advisers with a real book, a planning-led client base, and the discipline to work inside a proper firm.

UK-based IFAs are eligible to apply; experienced IFAs already working overseas may also be considered. UK-recognised financial advisory qualifications required (DipPFS, CISI Level 4, CFP or equivalent).
