Prestige IFA are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Remote International Financial Advisor, NOT an accountant or financial manager, who can be based anywhere to join our dynamic international wealth management team looking after expatriates. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in guiding clients through comprehensive financial planning, investment management, and wealth preservation strategies. This position offers an exciting opportunity to help individuals and organizations achieve their financial goals by providing expert advice rooted in a thorough understanding of financial concepts, legal frameworks, and market dynamics. Duties

  • Develop personalized financial plans that encompass estate planning, tax strategies, retirement planning, and investment management tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis to assess clients’ current financial status, including cash flow, asset allocation, and risk tolerance.
  • Advise clients on securities law compliance, securities trading, and investment portfolio management to optimize wealth growth while managing risk.
  • Assist clients with estate planning matters such as wills, trusts, and estate law to ensure proper asset transfer and legal compliance.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial software tools to track investments, analyze market trends, and generate reports.
  • Cultivate strong customer relationships through effective communication, understanding client needs, and providing ongoing support.
  • Stay informed about regulatory changes affecting financial services, including securities law and technical accounting standards.
  • Support business development efforts by engaging in financial sales activities and expanding the client base through professional networking.
  • Collaborate with legal and tax professionals to deliver comprehensive solutions aligned with current laws and regulations.
  • Conduct research on market conditions and economic trends to inform investment strategies and financial advice.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in financial planning, wealth management, or related roles within the financial services industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of estate planning, wills, trusts & estate law, and tax experience related to personal and corporate finance.
  • Strong understanding of securities law, investment management principles, and portfolio management techniques.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis software and research tools used for market evaluation.
  • Solid foundation in accounting principles including corporate accounting and technical accounting standards.
  • Excellent math skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data accurately.
  • Demonstrated expertise in customer relationship management (CRM) systems to build lasting client relationships.
  • Familiarity with banking operations, cash management strategies, and asset management practices.
  • Effective communication skills for explaining complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISI Level 4 or higher, a CFP (Certified Financial Planner), CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst), or equivalent credentials are preferred.
