The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

Reporting to the Quality Supervisor, and ultimately to the Quality Manager, the successful candidate will be an active member of the Quality Team, working closely with the Production and Enabler Teams to promote a positive Quality Culture and develop our QMS to the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 and BS 3632:2015, and company policies. The purpose of this role is to support the Quality Supervisor with the day-to-day operation of the manufacturing areas.

Responsibilities

  • Complete regular Gemba Walks and Internal Audits
  • Plan document review processes
  • Support the development and improvement of the Quality Management System
  • Monitor corrective action investigations and support as necessary, to ensure investigations are thorough and countermeasures are effective
  • Support with Supplier Risk Assessments, and Second- and Third-Party Audits
  • Preparing data for regular reporting

  • Ensure safe working practices are maintained and current legislation adhered to
  • Comply with all company health & safety related policies and procedures
  • Maintain good housekeeping standards and support improvement where necessary

Qualifications

  • Internal auditor trained

Experience and Knowledge

  • 3 years in a Quality role, as part of an established Quality Department.
  • Demonstrate QMS / SOP improvements
  • 5 years in a Quality role, ideally in a manufacturing or FMCG sector.
  • Gemba walks experience
  • Internal audits experience
  • Supporting and carrying out quality issues investigations, with effective root cause analysis (5 Why, Ishikawa, 8D)
