Starting Salary: £28,142 per annum pro rata (SLCC scale 11 – 14)

Job Type: Full‐time, fixed term contract for twenty‐four months. Six‐month probation period. Job evaluation will take place during this time.

Work Location: Office based (with some work elsewhere in the community if needed), Prestatyn, North Wales, LL19 9LR. The council staff work at Nant Hall Road office.

Responsibilities

  • The position will be office‐based, helping with day‐to‐day financial administration, payroll administration, shared reception duties and general office administration as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Previous experience with administration, payroll and in a financial role or setting.
  • Good level of education.
  • Can‐do attitude, organised and practical approach to problem solving.
  • Strong public relations / customer service skills.
  • Administration skills and good IT literacy.
  • Ability to work well alone, unsupervised and as part of a team.
  • Ability to coordinate, manage and balance your workload under pressure.
  • Provide an outstanding service to the council and community.
  • A driving licence and experience of working within the public sector would be beneficial.
