We are seeking a skilled and motivated Design Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the full product lifecycle, from concept and prototyping through to manufacturing and testing. You will play a key role in developing innovative pressure regulation solutions to meet evolving customer and industry needs.
DUTIES INCLUDE
- Design and develop precision pressure control products using Autodesk Inventor 3D CAD software
- Produce and maintain detailed engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation
- Collaborate with manufacturing, sales, and quality teams to ensure design feasibility and performance
- Conduct design reviews, FEA simulations, and DFMEA assessments
- Support the development of prototypes and manage design validation/testing
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and cost-reduction projects
- Provide technical support to customers and internal stakeholders
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline (HND/HNC with experience also considered)
- Proficient in 3D CAD, specifically Autodesk Inventor
- 2+ years\’ experience in a mechanical design role, ideally in pressure equipment, valves, or precision components
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes including CNC machining, turning, and assembly
- Understanding of materials (particularly stainless steel) and pressure system standards (e.g., PED, ASME)
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills
- Experience with FEA, CFD, or fluid system analysis (DESIRABLE)
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and design control procedures (DESIRABLE)
- Practical hands-on skills for working with prototypes and test setups (DESIRABLE)
- Passion for innovation and a continuous improvement mindset (DESIRABLE)
