We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to take ownership of day-to-day relationships with our key enterprise clients across a wide range of business verticals, including finance, oil and gas, retail, and media. This client-facing role requires building strong customer relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
The successful candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, managing the full customer lifecycle from requirements gathering through to solution delivery, while proactively identifying new opportunities to expand our footprint within existing customer organisations.
- Account Management & Business Development
- Manage and develop relationships with a portfolio of key enterprise accounts.
- Proactively identify and pursue upselling and cross-selling opportunities across our product portfolio (hardware, software, AV solutions, managed services, cloud).
- Monitor customer satisfaction and address concerns to ensure long-term retention and account growth.
- Maintain comprehensive understanding of customer business operations, technology infrastructure, and strategic objectives.
- Identify triggers for additional business (technology refreshes, expansion plans, new projects).
- Maintain current knowledge of IT trends, including cloud technologies, AV solutions, end-user computing, and managed services.
- Collaborate with pre-sales and technical teams to develop tailored solutions.
- Sales Support & Account Coordination
- Coordinate project delivery with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Liaise with internal departments (technical, projects, finance) to deliver excellent customer outcomes.
- Communicate customer feedback to relevant teams to drive service improvements.
Requirements:
- Experience in account management, business development, or sales within the IT industry or technology sector.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify revenue opportunities.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Good understanding of IT solutions including hardware, software, cloud technologies, and AV systems.
- Capability to discuss technical concepts with customers in accessible language.
- Self-motivated with strong customer service orientation.
