The Role

Proposal Manager with 4+ years of experience managing multiple, complex proposals for SLED, and/or Commercial.

Must have specific training and experience managing the entire proposal development process, leading technical meetings with SMEs and creating compliance checklists, response outlines, response templates and proposal management plans.

Required ability to successfully manage a minimum of three proposal simultaneously.

Experience with Responsive. io response management platform (or similar) is a preferred.

Responsibilities Include

  • Coordinate all phases of proposal development in response to government and commercial solicitations.
  • Work with multiple departments and personnel to facilitate story boarding, proposal strategy, win themes, writing sessions, and review meetings.
  • Create compliance matrix, proposal management plans, response templates, and other tools for proposal development.
  • Write, edit, and proofread documents used in proposal preparation and business development efforts.
  • Facilitate pre-proposal, kick-off and status meetings to identify required response to successful solution and compliance requirements
  • Lead technical reviews and participate in internal reviews to ensure compliance with requirements.
  • Assist with special projects related to pre and post submission activities.
  • Work with Capture teams to research opportunities and gather intelligence on customer, competition, and potential partners.
  • Conduct daily stand-up meetings as needed.
  • Document action items, meeting minutes, due dates and set expectations.
  • Ensure 100 percent compliance for all proposal efforts.
  • Maintain internal processes and bid workspaces.
  • Update boilerplate content, identify reuse content.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Professional Experience

  • Bachelors degree or 4 years of equivalent industry experience.
  • 4+ years of experience as a proposal manager.
  • Must have SLED experience.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to independently meet deadlines.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple proposal efforts simultaneously.
  • Must be able to create comprehensive compliance and requirement matrices.
