Role Overview
We are seeking a Brand Manager – EMEA Expansion to lead Careem’s brand presence and marketing strategy across new markets. This role will be pivotal in building Careem’s brand identity, driving awareness, and ensuring a consistent, impactful brand voice as we enter and scale in Europe and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute brand strategy for Careem’s expansion into EMEA, ensuring alignment with global vision and local market needs.
- Lead integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, outdoor, and partnership channels.
- Build Careem’s brand identity in new markets, ensuring consistency in tone, design, and messaging.
- Partner with product, operations, and regional marketing teams to drive adoption and customer engagement.
- Manage external agencies, media partners, and creative resources to deliver high-impact campaigns.
- Monitor brand performance metrics, consumer insights, and market trends to inform decision‑making.
- Champion customer‑centric storytelling to differentiate Careem in highly competitive markets.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
- 6+ years of brand management or marketing experience, preferably in technology, mobility, or consumer‑facing industries.
- Proven track record of launching or scaling brands in new or diverse markets.
- Strong creative and analytical skills with experience in digital‑first marketing.
- Ability to work cross‑functionally in fast‑paced, high‑growth environments.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Regional EMEA market knowledge a strong plus.
