Present Space is an independent platform researching film, art and culture, based between London and Los Angeles. Present Space is looking for a Creative Assistant to help across multiple projects. This hybrid position seeks someone who enjoys a fast-paced publishing environment and studio whilst also helping the Creative Directors across more structured commercial opportunities. The ideal candidate will be flexible working on multiple different projects and have a unique sense of creative identity that aligns well with Present Space.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Research - must be well skilled in finding imagery, artists and other creative talent to help build a narrative around the respective project.
- Project coordination - ability to draft briefs, create and manage project timelines, and ensure deadlines are met as well as helping with photoshoots and content production.
- Administrative support - help schedule appointments, manage calendars, and assist with studio operations.
- Collaboration - work with Creative Director and team members, contribute to idea generation, and assist in the execution.
Requirements
- Experience in Graphic Design with a clear portfolio showcasing previous work.
- Art Direction experience, with focus on editorial projects.
- Knowledge working with applications such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite and Slack.
- Organizational skills - strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks and tight deadlines are crucial.
- Communication - excellent communication and interpersonal skills are needed to collaborate.
- Flexible Working - ideal candidate based in London or Europe. Can work remotely or come to the office once a week in Central London. Must be comfortable working across different time zones, in particular with Los Angeles, New York and Europe.
- Must have a strong connection and understanding of publishing and the fashion industry as both a business and as a creative entity.
