Our long-standing client is the 9th largest audit firm in the UK, with significant growth in their audit team in the Thames Valley office. They are looking to hire a talented and ambitious Senior Associate or Assistant Manager to strengthen their Corporate Audit function. This role would suit any recently qualified Auditor looking to develop their experience and career in a supportive environment.
This opportunity will involve working on a varied client portfolio across multiple sectors, alongside experienced Managers, Directors, and Partners. You will be responsible for the delivery of client-based assignments, ensuring high-quality audit work and reporting.
Your direct client responsibilities include:
- Acting as the first point of contact for clients on a day-to-day basis.
- Demonstrating excellent writing, research, and presentation skills.
- Anticipating client needs and communicating effectively.
- Assisting in the planning, execution, and finalisation of audit assignments.
- Managing risk in all interactions with clients.
- Producing work for Manager and/or Partner review.
- Identifying additional sales opportunities.
- Preparing and delivering Audit Findings Reports.
- Monitoring progress against budget.
Your people responsibilities include:
- Demonstrating personal commitment to work and team success.
- Providing and being receptive to regular feedback.
- Coaching junior members of staff.
- Participating in service line, office, and firm-wide activities.
