We’re looking for a Senior Consultant to join our Value Price Access practice, built on the expertise of Dolon, now part of Prescient.

About our Value Price Access Practice (Dolon, a Prescient Company): With the integration of Dolon, Prescient has launched a dedicated Value Price Access practice, combining deep technical expertise with strategic advisory capabilities. Dolon brings a strong heritage in:

  • Global pricing and access strategy
  • Payer insights and HTA strategy
  • Access strategy in complex and high-value therapeutic areas

Our work is particularly differentiated in oncology and rare diseases, where:

  • Pricing and access decisions are highly scrutinised
  • Evidence requirements are complex and evolving
  • Strategic choices have significant patient and commercial implications

As part of Prescient, we now deliver fully integrated strategy across Commercial, Medical, Competitive Strategy and Access, helping clients maximise asset value across the entire product life cycle. This is a unique opportunity to join a specialist, strategy-led access team within a broader, market-leading consultancy platform.

About the Opportunity: As a Senior Consultant, you will play a central role in delivering high-impact, insight-led strategy projects for global biopharma clients. You will work on critical questions such as:

  • How should a novel oncology asset be positioned for optimal reimbursement?
  • What evidence is required to support value in rare diseases?
  • How can pricing strategy be optimised across global markets?
  • What are the payer risks and how can they be mitigated early?

Your time will be broadly split across:

  • ~30% capability building, client development support, and internal initiatives

You’ll be part of a fast-growing, PE-backed organisation, where high performers can shape both client impact and the future of the practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Project Delivery: Manage multiple value, pricing and access strategy projects across the product life cycle, including more complex, higher value projects. Oversee research quality and synthesise insights into strategic recommendations. Plan and manage resources and timelines for complex projects with multiple workstreams to meet clients’ strategic objectives. Develop pricing strategies, access roadmaps, and value narratives. Identify risks across workstreams and develop mitigation strategies. Moderate interviews with payers and clinicians.
  • Client Engagement: Act as the day-to-day point of client contact throughout projects. Build strong, trusted relationships with clients. Support delivery of high-quality, insight-driven outputs.
  • Business Development Support: Draft project proposals and pitch materials. Support thought leadership, particularly in oncology and rare diseases. Identify opportunities to expand client engagements and follow-on projects.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues across Commercial, Medical and Competitive Strategy practices. Contribute to integrated, cross-functional client solutions.
  • Team & Practice Development: Line manage, coach and mentor junior team members. Direct and collate the work of Analysts to conduct research and apply knowledge to ensure quality and validity. Contribute to internal knowledge building and best practices. Build team morale and ensure effective communication among team members. Help shape the growth of the Value Price Access practice.

Travel: Senior Consultants are expected to travel as frequently as necessary to ensure successful delivery of projects and strong client relationships.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in market access, pricing, commercial strategy or life sciences consulting.
  • Strong understanding of drug development and commercialisation, global pricing and reimbursement systems, HTA and payer decision-making.
  • Experience working in or exposure to oncology, rare diseases, or specialty therapeutics.
  • Experience working in a client-facing and project management position.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, strategic insights.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, team-oriented environments.

Education: BA/BS required; Advanced degree (PhD, MSc, MBA, MPH or similar) preferred in health policy, health economics, business or life sciences.

What We Offer:

  • The opportunity to join a specialist, strategy-led market access consultancy within a global firm.
  • Exposure to high-impact projects in oncology, rare diseases, and innovative therapies.
  • A high-growth, entrepreneurial environment where you can shape your career.
  • Close collaboration with Dolon experts and broader Prescient teams.
  • Accelerated development with early responsibility and client exposure.
  • A platform to build deep expertise in value, pricing and access strategy.
