The predicted salary is between 21100 - 22900 £ per year.
We are working with a leading institution to recruit an HR Admin on a temp to perm basis to start in September 2025. Due to the nature of this role, you will need to hold a DBS check on the Update Service.
Education sector. The roles are term-time only + 2 weeks (total 41 weeks per year).
Salary: £25,134 – £27,393
Location: Mixture of home and flexible working, central (Nottingham with parking available), and on-site in Nottingham / Derby locations.
Main Duties:
- Provide a professional response to telephone, email, and face-to-face queries, referring matters as necessary to the appropriate team members.
- Monitor the HR inbox and deal with queries daily.
- Support the people and culture advisor to maintain Itrent, to ensure staff records are accurate e.g., updating contract details and adding new starters.
- Support the people and culture team with recruitment and onboarding, including maintaining the recruitment platform.
- Assist with the administrative processes during annual reviews and new staff probation periods, including the maintenance of spreadsheets, trackers, and the HR systems.
- Accurate drafting of Contracts of Employment, variation letters, and any other written correspondence to staff.
- Act as the main administrator for the iHasco training system and produce reports as required.
- Data entry and analysis tasks as required to ensure the integrity of data and compliance with GDPR.
- Support the completion of the annual School Workforce census with the support of the Head of People and Culture.
- Provide admin support to the Office Managers with HR processes.
Background and skills needed:
- Administrative experience, ideally in an HR environment.
- Experience of using Microsoft Office.
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs including English and Maths at Grade C or equivalent.
- Passion for HR.
