Job Details
- Location: Day Care Centre, Aaron House, 40 Roseneath Gardens, Dundonald
- Service: Disability Services
- Salary Scale: £12.60 (no QCF), £12.66 (with QCF level 2), £12.70 (with QCF level 3)
- Hours: Two posts: 20 hours/week (shifts: 9am-1pm & 12pm-4pm)
- Responsible to: Service Manager
Main Responsibilities
As a Day Care Worker, you will work with the team to deliver and adapt activities that enable all Service Users to participate fully, supporting their development and well-being. The centre caters to adults with varying levels of learning disabilities, aiming to help each individual reach their full potential in a nurturing environment that respects the Christian ethos of the organization.
Qualifications and Experience
- Understanding of the needs of people with learning disabilities and principles of care
- GCSE English and Maths at Grade C or equivalent
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, TEAMS
- Experience working with individuals with complex needs in a care, education, or health setting
Additional Requirements
- Willingness to work additional hours as needed
- Respect for the Christian ethos of the organization
- Registration with the Northern Ireland Social Care Council and maintaining it
