Essential:
- Evidence an understanding of and respect for the needs of older people within a residential setting.
- Willing to undertake relevant training e.g. induction training, or NVQ / QCF level 2.

- Basic numeracy required by the duties of the post (as endorsed by appropriate qualification or use of numeracy skills in a work or home environment).
- Willing to work additional hours to fulfil the requirements of the Home.
- Willing to work within the Christian ethos of the Home.
- Willing to maintain registration with the Northern Ireland Social Care Council.
