To provide care and support for residents within the Christian ethos and aims of the Council for Social Witness.

Essential:

  • Evidence an understanding of and respect for the needs of older people within a residential setting.
  • Willing to undertake relevant training e.g. induction training, or NVQ / QCF level 2.
  • Proficiency in understanding, communicating and writing in English to level required by the duties of the post.
  • Basic numeracy required by the duties of the post (as endorsed by appropriate qualification or use of numeracy skills in a work or home environment).
  • Willing to work additional hours to fulfil the requirements of the Home.
  • Willing to work within the Christian ethos of the Home.
  • Willing to maintain registration with the Northern Ireland Social Care Council.
