MAIN FUNCTION OF JOB
To assist in carrying out administrative and financial duties associated with the administration tasks across the specialist services of Carlisle House, Grays Court and Thompson House. Carlisle House aims to provide the opportunity for individuals who have a substance misuse problem, and their relatives, to begin the journey of recovery through self-awareness and change. At the core of Carlisle House is a commitment to a value of respect, dignity and compassion. Grays Court is a move-on supported living project managed by Carlisle House consisting of seven one-bedroom flats. It offers a range of therapies, support and a Life Long Learning programme. It is short term accommodation with maximum tenancy of two years. Thompson House provides supported housing to offenders, where behaviour can be managed and monitored in the interests of public safety and from where permanent accommodation can be sourced. One of the key aims of Thompson House is to commend the Christian faith and way of life in an open and accepting manner.
CRITERIA
- QUALIFICATIONS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Essential GCSEs in 5 subjects, Grades A-C, including English Language and Maths, or equivalent qualification
- OCR/RSA Stage II Word Processing or equivalent in qualification or competence
- Essential 1 years experience of working in an administrative/office role
- Experience of finance and book-keeping procedures
- Experience of using Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook
- Experience of ensuring compliance with health and safety practices
- Essential Willing to work within the Christian ethos of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland
