Facilities Assistant to support the smooth day‑to‑day running of our busy production environment.
This hands‑on role is essential in maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient workplace, ensuring our facilities and equipment are well maintained and fully operational.
Working closely with production and site teams, you will assist with a variety of facilities tasks, helping to create an environment where our people and operations can perform at their best.

Main duties
- General Duties
- Facilities request actions
- Cleaning where required (a/c cassettes / vents)
- Effluent V notch checks / tank clean / and previous sample empty, sampler tube cleaning
- Door monitoring
- Water tank checks
- Daily walk rounds
- Drainage marking SW/F/I
- Drainage inspection
- Water meter inspection and photos
- Water effluent sampling
- Contractor management
- Completing PTW / Inductions / health questionnaires
- Using email / computer / phone / walkie talkie
- Fire alarm testing
- Good communicator at all levels
- Assisting Engineering when workload permits
- Skilled Duties
- Minor repairs
- Carpentry
- Painting / decorating
- Use of power tools
- Unblocking toilets / drains / rodding
- Pest control remedial actions
- AHU checks
- Wall mounting various items in line with Argent cold store panel policy
- Electrical qualification (desirable)
- Plumbing qualification/experience (desirable)

- Scissor lift (IPAF desirable) can be done in‑house
