Prepworld are expanding our H&S team, as such we have an exciting new opportunity for a Site Services Planner / Coordinator!
Duties: The main focus is to organise all site services activity and to ensure that the site is maintained in a good operational order. Our 140,000 sq. ft High Care Chilled fruit processing site is located in Northfleet, Kent where we supply many of the UK Supermarkets and other retail customers. The role will report directly to the Health, Safety & Facilities Manager and collaborate closely across technical, safety, finance, projects, production, planning and engineering teams. The day to day activity can vary and in addition to “planning” on site support with contractor management, induction and post work follow up will be part of the remit. We need an organiser, someone with high energy who will roll up their sleeves when necessary.
Who we are looking for:
- Experience of Managing services / facilities within food manufacturing industry (e.g., ISO 45001, BRC Global)
- Food Safety Level 3 (desirable)
- IOSH Managing Safely (desirable)
- Be confident with external contact and managing contractors with services such as Water Management / Effluent / Refrigeration / Pest Control / Site security / Housekeeping / building maintenance / Industrial high level cleaning (essential)
- Experience of negotiating terms / costs with suppliers (desirable)
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyse audit data and trends to identify areas of improvement.
- Problem-solving: Ability to troubleshoot issues and recommend practical solutions to challenges.
- Be comfortable with change and an evolving business.
- Time Management: Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise (essential)
- Be confident with Microsoft systems & Excel report management / creation (essential)
