Preptec Equipment Services are a supplier of floor preparation and related equipment to customers throughout the UK and Ireland. This position offers the applicant an opportunity to work in an established business with a reputation for high levels of customer service.
This opportunity will include a variety of tasks including:
- Repair and servicing of equipment
- Electrical and mechanical repairs
- Welding
- PAT testing equipment
- Preparing new equipment for sale
- Packing machinery for despatch
- Fork lift truck operation
- Workshop housekeeping
- Delivery and collection of equipment / goods in company van
- Demonstration of equipment
Minimum requirements:
- 3 years workshop experience
- Forklift operation
- Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team
Preferred requirements:
- A background and interest in mechanical equipment ideally in the surface preparation industry
- An understanding of the different types of equipment supplied and the operation would be a major advantage
Additional training will be provided as required.
Monday β Friday 8.30 to 5pm β 30 mins lunch plus breaks
20 days paid holiday plus bank holidays
