I am reaching out regarding a Python requirement. I am seeking an experienced, enthusiastic female professional educator to introduce my 9-year-old daughter to the world of coding. The goal is to build her confidence and curiosity through hands-on, creative play. We want to completely skip the dry, traditional 'Hello World' syntax drills.
Instead, we want her to learn Python by building small, interactive games right from day one. The learning curve should be highly deliberate:
- Beginner: Extremely minimal code, focusing on immediate, visual, and fun results.
- Intermediate: Gradually introducing foundational logic as her interest grows.
- Advanced: Moving toward structured programming and more complex game mechanics over time.
Gender Preference: Male/Female (preferred) professional teacher/tutor.
Teaching Style: Project-based, highly engaging, and patient. Ability to explain abstract concepts using concrete, kid-friendly analogies.
Communication: Flawless, highly articulate English communication skills.
Schedule: Must be available for early morning sessions, starting as early as 6:00 AM.
Experience: Prior experience teaching programming to young children (ages 7–11) is highly preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Draft a customized syllabus according to the needs of the student.
- Employ the latest methods in teaching Python.
- Discuss and understand the objectives of the student before starting lessons in Python.
- Provide practical examples for clear understanding of subject topics.
Requirements:
- Must be able to help the student reach their level by the desired time.
- Must be genuinely interested in the development of the student.
- Have solid experience of using computer and the internet.
- Be able to maintain a stable working relationship with the student.
