This role is the financial and operational owner of Preply's B2B business. You'll build the systems, metrics, and governance that enable high-velocity, compliant growth. The mandate spans Finance, Sales, Product, and Legal, with a strong bias toward automation, predictive analysis, and AI-enabled decision-making.
What you'll do
- Strategic Finance & FP&A
- Partner with the VP Finance and Head of B2B to drive the growth and profitability roadmap, with deep visibility into ACV, GRR, NRR and unit economics.
- Build and own the B2B forecast model - pipeline-to-revenue conversion, bookings, margin, and cash.
- Lead financial storytelling for B2B performance across board discussions, investment decisions, and pricing strategy.
- Move FP&A from manual to predictive: introduce AI-powered tooling, automated variance analysis, and scalable reporting infrastructure.
- GTM Operations
- Partner with Sales and RevOps on funnel economics, quota design, and incentive alignment.
- Own the deal desk - balancing growth, discounting discipline, and legal compliance.
- Build and maintain a KPI framework connecting pipeline health, bookings, margin, and cash.
- Legal, Contracting & Compliance
- Formalize contracting, deal governance, and terms of service with Legal.
- Maintain the right contract entities across global markets for tax efficiency and compliance.
- Data & Tooling
- Integrate Salesforce, ERP, and analytics systems into a single source of truth for B2B reporting.
- Champion AI-native workflows - from prompt-driven analysis to automated data pipelines - to raise the team's analytical ceiling.
Who you are
- 8–12+ years in FP&A, strategic finance, or business operations in B2B SaaS, marketplaces, or enterprise GTM.
- Deep fluency in B2B GTM metrics: CAC payback, ACV, GRR, NRR, pipeline velocity, magic ratio, gross margin.
- Proven track record building financial infrastructure across GTM, Legal, Product, and Treasury.
- Hands‑on experience with deal desk, pricing, and AR management.
- AI-native mindset: you actively use AI tools to accelerate analysis, build models, and automate reporting - not as a curiosity, but as a core part of how you work.
- Strong communicator who can elevate cross-functional peers and translate financial complexity into decisions.
- Comfortable building frameworks and executing fast in a globally distributed, high-growth environment.
