As a Senior SEM Manager, you’ll play a key role in scaling and optimizing our global paid search engine growth. You’ll turn data into strategy, automation into advantage, and experimentation into meaningful business impact—shaping how millions of learners discover Preply worldwide.
What you’ll be doing:
- Develop and execute global SEM strategy to meet growth and efficiency goals (LTV/CAC).
- Manage and optimize campaigns across Google and Microsoft Ads—from keyword expansion to automation and bidding.
- Design and run experiments (campaign A/B tests, causal impact studies, geo‑based incrementality) to continuously improve ROI, LTV per new student, and overall profitability.
- Use automation, AI, and data tools (Looker, Snowflake) to monitor, report and link spend to business impact.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with Martech, Data, Product, Brand and SEO to ensure accurate tracking, strong creative and brand alignment.
- Work with stakeholders to define growth priorities, forecast performance, and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Proactively test new Google Ads features and betas, exploring opportunities before broader industry adoption.
What you need to succeed:
- 5+ years of SEM experience in high‑growth B2C environments, ideally with exposure to subscription‑based models.
- Proven ability to scale growth efficiently (LTV/CAC) across diverse products and regions.
- Deep expertise in Google Ads operations, bidding strategies and automation.
- Strong analytical and technical fluency with tools like Looker, Snowflake, and attribution systems.
- Effective stakeholder manager—able to align Data, Martech, Product and Marketing teams around shared goals.
- Hands‑on with experimentation, designing A/B, geo and incrementality tests to drive measurable ROI.
- Creative problem solver who combines analytical rigor with ownership and initiative.
