Job Overview/Summary
We are looking for an experienced Management Accountant who thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment. This role is key to providing financial insight that supports strategic decision-making. You\’ll manage monthly reporting, budgeting, and cost analysis while supporting the implementation of our new ERP system and ensuring it is effectively integrated into our financial workflows.
Main Duties And Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts and financial reports
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes
- Perform cost accounting and margin analysis, with a strong focus on production and supply chain costs
- Partner with department heads to provide insights and recommendations based on financial performance
- Support the implementation of financial data workflows within the ERP system
- Identify opportunities for process automation, efficiency, and system enhancements
- Reconcile key balance sheet accounts and ensure the integrity of financial data
- Assist with year-end processes, external audits, and compliance
- Develop dashboards and reports for operational and strategic decision-making
- Act as a point of contact for supplier queries
- Delivering robust analysis of actuals to ensure accurate accounting, understanding and analysis with recommendations for senior management
- Balance sheet reconciliation & compliance
- Linking together operational and financial information in weekly reports to management
- Manage outsourced payroll process and admin
- Act as a point of contact for queries, supporting business units with financial insights.
- Ad hoc duties for Finance department
About You
- Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent)
- 3+ years of experience in a management accounting role, ideally in FMCG, food production, or manufacturing
- Strong understanding of ERP systems and experience improving financial reporting and processes through them
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
- Excellent communication and business partnering skills
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Passion for working in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment
