Job Overview/Summary
As a Hygiene Operative at Prep Kitchen, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety across our production site.
Main Duties And Responsibilities
- Carry out daily and deep cleaning of production areas, equipment, and utensils.
- Follow cleaning instructions and use chemicals safely.
- Complete hygiene records and checklists accurately.
- Report any maintenance or hygiene concerns.
- Use PPE and follow all food safety and hygiene procedures.
- Support production when needed and work as part of the wider operations team.
Skills And Experience
- Previous hygiene/cleaning experience in food manufacturing or similar (preferred but not essential as training will be provided).
- Good understanding of hygiene and food safety.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Able to work with cleaning chemicals safely (training provided).
Role: 5 days per week between Monday-Saturday – must be available on weekends.
Salary: £12.21 per hour with room for progression
