Our award-winning whole body scan is fast (under 1 hour), safe (MRI has no ionizing radiation), and non-invasive (no contrast). Our unique integrated stack of hardware, software, and AI, coupled with a patient-centric experience across our clinics, leads the change against \”we caught it too late again\”. Role Overview We are seeking an experienced MR Safety Expert (MRSE) on a contractor basis to support CQC registration preparations and provide ongoing MR safety governance and training. This short-term project-based role has potential for longer-term collaboration, initially estimated at 1-2 days/week over 2β3 months, with scope for advisory work post-registration. Responsibilities CQC Registration Support: Provide expert input on MR safety documentation, SOPs, training logs, patient safety policies, and risk assessments. Ensure UK MRI safety regulation compliance (MHRA, IPEM, HSE, CEMFAW, COSHH). Review and advise on local rules, zoning diagrams, signage, and safety screening protocols. MRI Safety Expertise: Act as designated MR Safety Expert during setup and registration. Conduct risk assessments for new MRI installations and site safety. Review safety protocols for implants, pregnancy, noise, and contraindications. Coordinate with suppliers and engineers on safety queries. Staff Training and Education: Deliver bespoke MR safety training to staff. Recommend external training options. Provide training documentation for CQC evidence. Ongoing Advisory Support: Offer ad hoc MR safety advice as needed. Participate in audits or reviews post-registration if required.
