Unterstützte Kommunikation hat zum Ziel, die Kommunikationsmöglichkeiten nichtsprechender oder eingeschränkt sprechender Menschen zu verbessern. Als Ergänzung der Lautsprache oder Alternative dazu können technische Hilfsmittel mit Sprachausgabe eingesetzt werden. Menschen mit angeborenen Kommunikationshürden (bspw. Down-Syndrom, Autismus usw.) oder Menschen mit erworbenen Beeinträchtigungen (ALS, Schlaganfälle usw.) können somit neue Wege der Kommunikation eröffnet werden, die ein weitgehend selbstbestimmtes Leben ermöglichen.
Die Prentke Romich GmbH versorgt seit 1991 bundesweit Menschen mit Hilfsmitteln zur Unterstützten Kommunikation und gehört zu den größten Anbietern dieser Produkte in Deutschland.
Das solltest du mitbringen:
- Du bist ausgebildete*r Logopäde*in, Sprachtherapeut*in, Ergotherapeut*in, Heilpädagoge*in oder besitzt eine Ausbildung in einem mit der Beratung und Betreuung von Menschen verwandten Berufszweig
- Idealerweise hast du bereits eine Weiterbildung als UK-Fachkraft (z.B. LUK, UK-Coach) oder verfügst über Kenntnisse im Bereich UK von einfachen Hilfen bis hin zu komplexen dynamischen Systemen.
- Erfahrung ist nicht alles, viel mehr solltest du den Willen und die Motivation mitbringen, um dich in den Bereich der Unterstützten Kommunikation einzuarbeiten.
- Du willst aktiv die Lebensqualität von Menschen verbessern, deren kommunikative Möglichkeiten eingeschränkt sind.
- Du wohnst in Mittelhessen oder bist bereit umzuziehen.
Dein zukünftiges Aufgabengebiet umfasst:
- Die Beratung potenzieller Benutzerinnen und Benutzer und ihrer Bezugspersonen (z.B. Therapeuten, Sonderpädagogen oder Eltern) zur Auswahl von Hilfsmitteln aus unserer Produktpalette.
- Die Durchführung von Einweisungen, Schulungen, Workshops und Fortbildungsveranstaltungen zum Einsatz der Hilfsmittel.
- Die fortlaufende pädagogische und didaktisch-methodische Betreuung der Benutzerinnen und Benutzer, insbesondere zur Anpassung von Vokabular und Erweiterung der kommunikativen Möglichkeiten.
