Here at Prentice Group our aim is to keep people and businesses moving, that's what we do and, as a parts driver, you will take our award-winning service directly to our customers' doors.
The Role
We are currently recruiting for a full-time Parts Van Driver to support our parts department and assist with daily operations. This is a varied and hands-on role involving the delivery of parts throughout Northern Ireland while also supporting warehouse and stock handling duties within the business.
- Delivering vehicle parts to customers and trade partners across Northern Ireland
- Carrying out multi-drop deliveries efficiently and professionally
- Loading and unloading vans safely and accurately
- Assisting with receiving and checking daily stock deliveries into the business
- Supporting the parts department with general warehouse duties when required
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with both existing and new customers
- Ensuring excellent customer service at all times
- Planning delivery routes effectively to maximise efficiency and meet delivery schedules
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a multi-drop delivery role across Northern Ireland
- A good knowledge of Northern Ireland geography and route planning
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A positive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience handling stock and assisting within a warehouse or parts environment would be advantageous
- A full, clean UK driving licence
