As a CAD Designer, you will have a good working knowledge and experience of AutoCAD (or similar CAD packages, both 2D and 3D) and work as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Your role will be to support the Mechanical Engineering discipline through the production of high-quality engineering design drawings, schedules and diagrams of pipework systems. You should be enthusiastic and conscientious about the work you produce, leading by example with good attention to detail. You will also have the ability to learn quickly and work methodically under your own initiative, as well as part of a team.

As part of your role, you will assist in surveying client sites using both drones and conventional surveying means. Premtech has a defined development path for CAD Designers to develop your skills and progress to a senior member of the team.

As a member of the Premtech team, you will be using a suite of Autodesk software including: Plant 3D, Revit, AutoCAD, Recap, and Navisworks.

Ideally, you will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working within oil and gas related industries, but it is not mandatory. To complement this, you will have an engineering background and recognised engineering qualifications, preferably with a Mechanical and/or Civil bias, together with an awareness and commitment to health, safety and environmental procedures relating to design and construction activities.
