We are seeking a motivated individual to join our growing team in our Rackheath Warehouse Distribution Centre. The Warehouse Supervisor will work 36 hours per week, oversee and coordinate the shift warehousing activities, be responsible for the production, productivity, quality and customer service standards, and lead by example to drive the operations team daily.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direction for warehouse staff, ensuring they are cross trained wherever possible.
- Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and staff performance.
- Communicate job expectations and coach staff.
- Determine staffing levels and assign workload.
- Ensure shipments’ and inventory transactions’ accuracy for both goods in and dispatch.
- Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices in collaboration with the warehouse manager.
- Comply with all relevant Health and Safety legislation and regulation.
- Continually seek improvement in every aspect of the position and warehouse functions.
- Other relevant duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Flexi/Bendi FLT Licence is essential.
- Angling Experience / knowledge desirable.
- Ability to lead a team.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Previous experience in a warehouse beneficial.
