The Role
As a Customer Service Advisor, you will play a key role in delivering an outstanding customer experience to anglers across the UK and Europe. Working in a multilingual environment, you'll support customers in their native language, helping to resolve enquiries and ensuring every interaction reflects our commitment to exceptional service. This is a varied role that combines customer communication with administrative and operational support. You'll work closely with colleagues across the business to solve problems, improve processes and ensure our customers receive the best possible service. Whether you're helping a customer track an order, arranging a refund, or providing advice on fishing products, you'll be an important part of helping anglers enjoy their next fishing adventure.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service via telephone, email and live chat
- Respond to customer enquiries professionally and efficiently
- Provide advice and guidance to customers where appropriate
- Process refunds, exchanges and returns
- Investigate and identify potentially fraudulent activity
- Resolve customer complaints and disputes in a positive and professional manner
- Manage and fulfil back orders
- Work collaboratively with other departments to resolve customer queries and improve outcomes
- Process customer orders and provide tracking and delivery updates
- Support customers with product information, with full training provided
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the department
About You

Essential Skills & Experience
- You must possess excellent communication skills for effective interaction with diverse groups of people.
- Previous customer service experience would be an advantage.
- Ability to maintain positive disposition and be effective at work even when under pressure.
- Ability to be patient with customers no matter how difficult they might be.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Fluent in English as well as German or Dutch language – verbal and written.
- Must be knowledgeable in relevant computer applications.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Angling experience/knowledge desirable but not essential
- Previous customer service experience
- Additional language skills, particularly French
- Experience working in an e-commerce or retail environment
