Premium Incoming is looking for a motivated tourism professional to lead the development and relaunch of its UK operation.

This is an opportunity for someone who already has solid experience within the DMC/incoming tourism sector and is ready to take the next step in their career.

We are not necessarily looking for an established senior Managing Director. We are looking for someone with strong potential, entrepreneurial spirit and hands-on DMC experience who wants to grow into a leadership position while building a business.

The successful candidate will develop Premium Incoming UK from the ground up, supported by an established international DMC group with operations across several European destinations.

The role combines operations, contracting, product development, supplier relations and commercial development, particularly during the initial phase of the UK operation.

Operations & Destination Management

  • Develop and supervise incoming operations across the UK.
  • Manage quotations, bookings and operational delivery for FIT, leisure groups and MICE.
  • Ensure high service standards and smooth execution of programmes.
  • Develop operational procedures in coordination with Premium Incoming's European offices.
  • Support complex or high-value files when required.
  • Build and maintain a competitive network of hotels, transportation companies, guides, restaurants, venues and experience providers.
  • Negotiate rates, conditions, allocations and commercial agreements.
  • Identify new suppliers and experiences that differentiate Premium Incoming's UK product.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key local partners.
  • Ensure that products remain competitive in terms of quality, creativity and price.

Product Development

  • Develop attractive UK programmes for Premium Incoming's international client base.
  • Create FIT, leisure group and MICE products adapted to different source markets.
  • Identify new destinations, experiences and niche opportunities within the UK.
  • Work with the wider Premium Incoming team to develop multi-country European programmes.

Business Development

  • Gradually assume responsibility for the commercial development of the UK destination.
  • Support sales activities with existing Premium Incoming clients.
  • Participate in client meetings, sales calls, trade fairs, workshops and industry events.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling UK programmes to clients already working with other Premium Incoming destinations.
  • Contribute to the acquisition of new international accounts.
  • Take ownership of the progressive development of Premium Incoming UK.
  • Initially operate in a highly hands-on environment, personally involved in both operational and commercial activities.
  • Identify future staffing requirements as business volume develops.
  • Recruit and develop the local team when justified by growth.
  • Progressively assume full P&L and management responsibility for the UK operation.

We are particularly interested in candidates currently working within a UK DMC or incoming tour operator who feel ready to take a significant step forward in their career.

The ideal candidate may currently be working as an Operations Manager, Senior Operations Executive, Contracting Manager, Product Manager, Deputy Manager or in a similar position and wants the opportunity to progress towards general management.

Required experience

  • Previous professional experience within a DMC, incoming tour operator or similar tourism business.
  • Strong understanding of UK incoming tourism.
  • Practical experience in operations.
  • Experience in supplier contracting and negotiation.
  • Good knowledge of UK hotels, transportation, guides, experiences and tourism suppliers.
  • Ability to prepare and manage quotations and programmes.
  • Good commercial understanding of the international B2B travel industry.

Competencies

  • Entrepreneurial and proactive.
  • Highly hands-on and solution-oriented.
  • Commercially minded.
  • Comfortable building something from scratch.
  • Strong in negotiation and supplier relationships.
  • Organised and operationally rigorous.
  • Comfortable working independently while being part of an international organisation.
  • Ambitious and interested in developing into a senior management position.

Additional languages, particularly Spanish, would be highly valued given Premium Incoming's international structure and client base.

  • UK-based position, preferably London or with easy access to London.
  • Full-time position.
  • Regular interaction with Premium Incoming headquarters and European offices.
  • Travel within the UK for contracting, product development and operational supervision.
  • Occasional international travel for meetings, sales activities, trade fairs and company events.
  • Compensation package according to experience and profile, with potential to evolve alongside the growth of the UK operation.

This role is designed for someone who wants more than another operational position.

The objective is to give the successful candidate the opportunity to build, develop and ultimately lead Premium Incoming UK, progressing alongside the business.

The candidate will not be starting alone. They will have the commercial, operational and management support of an established European DMC group, its existing international client portfolio and its network of offices across Europe.

For the right person, this represents a genuine opportunity to move from an operational or middle-management position into the leadership of a DMC operation.

In line with its commitment to equal treatment and opportunities, Grupo Travel Live bases its selection processes on criteria regarding suitability for the role—specifically focusing on competencies, experience, and professional qualifications—while ensuring at all times that there is no discrimination based on gender, age, ideology, cultural background, etc.
