Essential:

• Professional Teaching Qualifications (Qualified Teacher Status / QTLS)
• Minimum 1 year teaching experience
• Experience, knowledge and understanding of safeguarding processes
• Enhanced DBS (we can help obtain this at cost if needed)
• Two professional references

Term-Time Subject Tutor.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualised tutoring sessions in English for all students, adapting teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.
• Develop engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum and promote student understanding.
• Foster a supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and confidence.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to track progress and address any challenges.
• Utilise special education strategies as needed to support students with varying abilities.
