National Account Manager — Field based covering UK / home based

The Role
The National Account Manager will work closely with the Head of SME and ETrade and collaborate with the team to manage partner relationships, implementing the partner relationship manager framework and delivering action plans to increase partners' take up of premium finance.
You will also:
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with a panel of partners.
- Lead and own the implementation and onboarding of newly acquired partners through to launch.
- Lead and own the renewal of trading contracts when necessary.
- Provide data and information to partners, ensuring accurate narrative that will support business growth.
- Collaborate across departments to support the completion of partner contracts, access to digital tools and the resolution of partner queries and complaints.
- Plan and execute sales activities that meet strategic requirements and personal performance targets.
- Maintain your product and service knowledge, completing any regulatory or mandatory training as required.
About You
We’re looking for a National Account Manager who approaches all tasks with a natural energy and pace, working in an organised manner to ensure that partners and customers receive a high standard of customer care and are confident in their business interactions with us.
You’ll have a natural ability to develop and nurture relationships, identifying any current or future opportunities to develop business or enhance services.
To be successful as our National Account Manager you will already have significant experience within an Account Management or Business Development position with a demonstrable track record of growing and maintaining your accounts, ideally within the insurance industry.
You’re a natural collaborator, working cross-departmentally to resolve pain points, issues or complaints swiftly.
You’re financially astute with a good understanding of where to focus your energy for maximum return.
You have the ability to complete administrative and reporting tasks – ensuring that all regulatory and compliance duties are met.
Your decision making is driven by facts and data, providing relevant information to key partners.
You are able to travel on a regular basis to meet with key partners as well as attend regular in person team meetings.
