Role Overview: Reporting to the Head of Operational Excellence, you’ll have a strategic overview of workforce planning, capacity planning and resource budgeting. You’ll carry out activities that include resource allocation and headcount modelling using data‑driven decision making and taking into account continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Take responsibility for Strategic Workforce Planning, collaborating with business leaders and aligning workforce planning to long‑term goals.
- Analyse workforce trends, including attrition rates, skills gaps and growth projections, developing plans that address business needs.
- Assess current and future resource requirements, optimising resource allocation to meet service levels.
- Collaborate with finance and HR teams to create resource budgets, tracking annual spend against budget.
- Develop headcount modelling to forecast staffing needs, with consideration to seasonality, project lifecycles and business growth.
- Develop analysis of current provision and performance, preparing reports and recommendations for stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience: To be successful as our Workforce Planner you’ll have proven experience in a similar role, leading on workforce planning, capacity management or resource allocation. You will:
- Have a qualification in Business Administration, Human Resources or a related field.
- Have proficiency in data analysis tools and be able to demonstrate your ability to make balanced decisions.
- Be solutions focussed, able to use your initiative to manage issues, drive outcomes and suggest process improvements, maintaining commercial awareness.
- Have change management expertise to drive improvements.
- Create a culture of continuous improvements, focusing on the delivery of outstanding customer experience.
