We’re looking for a Junior Credit Risk Analyst to join our Counterparty Risk team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their credit or financial services career to build hands-on experience in credit assessment, partner oversight and portfolio monitoring. You’ll play a key role in supporting the management of our counterparty portfolio—helping ensure strong credit quality, regulatory compliance and positive customer outcomes.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Supporting the preparation of credit proposals and recommending approvals
- Monitoring the performance of partners and insurers against agreed metrics
- Analysing financial data and producing clear, structured summaries
- Completing credit reviews using internal data and external sources (e.g. financial accounts, credit reports)
- Maintaining accurate records across credit systems and supporting audit readiness
- Liaising with internal teams including Sales and Partner Setup to support onboarding and ongoing management
- Identifying potential risks or breaches and escalating where appropriate
- Providing ad hoc support across the wider Credit function
What We’re Looking For:
We’re looking for someone who is analytical, proactive and keen to learn:
- Strong Excel skills (formulas, sorting, data analysis)
- Confidence analysing data and presenting findings clearly
- Experience reviewing financial or credit information (e.g. credit reports, accounts)
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
- Interest in financial services, lending or risk
Nice to have:
- Experience in credit risk, underwriting or financial analysis
- Knowledge of financial accounts or lending processes
- Advanced Excel skills (e.g. Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP)
