Do you have strong liquid manufacturing and filling experience within fast moving consumer goods? Are you excited by the challenge of scaling UK operations and paving the way for future international growth? A fast growing consumer brand is searching for a talented Head of Manufacturing to lead production across the UK. Based on site in Hertfordshire, you’ll oversee operations at the company’s own facility as well as managing UK co manufacturers, while also laying the foundations for future manufacturing expansion into the USA.

You’ll play a pivotal role in driving performance, improving capacity and delivering high quality products across multiple formats.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead UK manufacturing across the Hertfordshire site and UK co manufacturing partners.
  • Drive OEE, yield, throughput and efficiency across liquid manufacturing and filling lines.
  • Champion strong HSE, compliance and regulatory standards.
  • Implement Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives to support rapid scale up.
  • Develop robust preventative maintenance programmes to maximise reliability.
  • Own CAPEX and manufacturing budgets, delivering smart investment and cost control.
  • Manage, assess and support third party manufacturers, preparing for future US partnerships.
  • Build and develop a high performing manufacturing leadership team.
Candidate Requirements
  • Extensive experience in liquid manufacturing and filling within FMCG: food, drink, cosmetics, personal care or household cleaners.
  • Strong background managing owned sites and co manufacturers in fast growth environments.
  • Expertise in Lean, CI, TPM and performance improvement.
  • A credible, people focused leader who thrives in a dynamic, passionate, scaling business.
