As Scientific Lead, you will embed scientific integrity across the full innovation pipeline, bridging dermatological research with consumer needs to deliver high‐performance, future‐proof products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Embed scientific strategy and rigour into end‐to‐end product development
  • Provide internal scientific guidance, advising on formulation, efficacy and clinical relevance
  • Translate complex science into actionable insights for non‐technical teams
  • Manage external partners including dermatologists, testing labs and research institutions
  • Oversee clinical and user testing programmes, interpreting and communicating results
  • Stay ahead of dermatological and ingredient science trends to inform pipeline innovation
  • Build strong relationships with ingredient houses, technical partners and manufacturers
Candidate Requirements
  • Experience in a scientific or technical role within beauty, personal care or related industry
  • Qualification in cosmetic science, dermatology, formulation chemistry or similar
  • Commercially aware, balancing scientific rigour with business goals
  • Industry network across suppliers, manufacturers and academia
  • Happy to travel globally for conferences and supplier visits
